Area residents who opposed the 2021 Invenergy wind turbine project proposed for a residentially zoned area along Short Mountain in Baker, may now have something to support.
On Jan. 16, 2024, five business days into the 2024 legislative session, Hardy County Delegate Bryan Ward (R-86th) introduced House Bill 4784. The bill currently has 10 other sponsors. It was quickly referred to the House Energy and Manufacturing Committee for deliberation.
